We're back from our respective lands of the Antipodes. Lisa has had her glorious fill of sun rays, seafood and mango...and I've had my fill of torrential rain (thanks NZ for 'summer')

But a fun project that kept us occupied over our Christmas holidays was our Start 2012 campaign for Nestea. We're working with Lisa's longtime friends Megan and Jeremy to bring to life people's resolutions for the new year.

Jeremy (aka Jeremyville) has been illustrating some of the best 'Starts' on Nestea's Canada and Europe facebook pages. We're loving them!

Hands down, we'd have to say it was the best shoot of our lives. We took a 360º camera to some of the world's most amazing environments to create an experience inspired by Street View. We went off the edge of a cliff in Marble Canyon (Lisa's first heli ride), through an underwater museum in the waters of Cancun, through one of the world's most amazing slot canyons, through a Neon museum in Vegas, into a previously unexplored ice cave in Alaska (still pinching myself on that one), and into the middle of a frozen lake on a glacier (a hairy experience to say the least).

Anyhow, no point continuing as we've probably made you jealous enough. Check out Off the Grid at http://www.youtube.com/user/hondacivicuk

Following our pilot campaign for Troy Davis in 2010, Amnesty felt that Making the Invisible Visible could help draw attention to their 2011 Write for Rights campaign. As part of Human Rights day, the campaign encourages people to write letters in support of those who are suffering human rights abuses.

This year's campaign highlights the cases of 6 individuals and can be found in 26 sites across Germany, Ireland, Wales and Denmark. Because it's a personal project, we've been hard at work on the editing and PRing side of things and we were absolutely thrilled that thisiscolossal.com picked up on it. That's one of our favourite blogs, so a big honour.

He's a St Bernard / Boxer / something else cross. He's also the star of our first piece of live work for the 2012 Honda Civic.

When Honda engineers were going about designing the new Civic's interior, they met with owners of the previous model. One such owner had a dog who happily hung out in the back of his Civic, thanks to the very clever Magic Seats (which have hundreds of foldy combinations, some of which are perfect for giving a dog a space of his own.)

We thought the fact a happy dog influenced the complete interior design of a new car was pretty sweet. So we made an interactive film about it.

If you like dogs with wobbly bits blowing in the wind, check it out on the Honda Youtube hub. When you blow on your mic, Woody's jowls go crazy. It's quite a bit of fun, although you may want to clean your own slobber off your laptop screen afterwards.

That's enough time to have a baby. And a couple of our babies are in the process of being delivered as we speak...more to come on that one.

In the meantime, we've come across some nice things being said in the press about some of the things we've done in the past.

Streetmuseum (the original) has now surpassed 300,000 downloads. Not bad when the client originally asked for 5000. Time Out's blog very kindly brought our attention to this fact, both big-upping us and dissing Dr Who's mode of transportation at the same time. Lovely.

On a particularly un-lovely note, we were both utterly floored and gutted by the Georgia Parole Board's decision to execute Troy Davis. Our Amnesty fence campaign highlighted Troy's case and the decision to take a man's life when the case had so much doubt is something we have both been shocked and saddened by.

Huffington Post mentioned the work recently and we're trying to take solace in the fact that Troy's name and case will be remembered long after his passing. Our work with Amnesty is continuing this year, with a global campaign launching next month.

RIP Troy.
